Claudio Rocchi biography CLAUDIO ROCCHI was born in Milan in 1951. He is another of the artistically fruitful Italian solo artists whose career spanned multiple genres over the decades, making him difficult to categorize like his contemporaries Alan Sorrenti, Lucio Battisti, and Franco Battiato. Rocchi started as part of the legendary band Stormy Six and participated on their debut before quickly moving to solo work.
Claudio Rocchi (8 January 1951 – 18 June 2013) was an Italian progressive rock singer-songwriter, musician and radio host. Born in Milan, at young age Rocchi was a bassist in the group Stormy Six, with whom he recorded their first album in 1968, Le idee di oggi per la musica di domani. In 1970, he started a solo career, publishing the album Viaggio. In 1971, he released the album Volo Magico numero 1, with which he became a constant presence in all the meetings and the rock festivals of the time
Made in India is an Indi-pop album by Alisha Chinai, with production by Biddu, released in 1995. It was the first album by an Indian pop (Indipop) artist to be sold on a scale comparable to Hindi film music albums, with over 5 million copies sold in India. The album established Indipop as a discrete genre and its singer Alisha Chinai became the genre's main proponent.

Claudio Rocchi (Milano, January 8 1951, † Roma, 18 June 20013) was the original bass guitarist of Stormy Six, and played on their first album Le idee di oggi per la musica di domani, leaving the band soon after the album release for a solo career that started in 1970 with the first album, Viaggio, mainly acoustic and with good flute playing by. PFM's Mauro Pagani. Always influenced by eastern doctrines (he later became a Hare Krishna), he was also active in anti-war movements and always present at the various Italian pop festivals of the early 70's.
