Through The Hoop With Grace Slick.

Grace Barnett Wing Slick (born October 30, 1939) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, artist and former model, widely known in rock and roll history for her role in San Francisco's burgeoning psychedelic music scene in the mid-1960s. Her music career spanned four decades. She also had a sporadic solo career.

Grace Slick (Artist) Format: Vinyl. Number of Discs: 1. Label: RCA. ASIN: B0050AY2IG. Incredible album from early 1981 that got no airplay while women so below Grace in singing ability and style were given so much airtime. I'd say this was one of the best albums of the entire 1980s I just wish Grace had not made a reference to the 1980s in Sea of Love that put a date stamp on this album.

Reasonably enough, this compilation is not drawn exclusively from Grace Slick's four solo albums, her duo album with Paul Kantner, and her trio album with Kantner and David Freiberg, none of which sold very well. Unfortunately, Jeff Tamarkin's typically well written liner notes, based on a recent interview, leave no doubt that she has retired from the field.
