A Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour was a concert tour by the British rock band Pink Floyd from 1987 to 1989 in support of their album A Momentary Lapse of Reason. The tour was the band's first since The Wall Tour in 1981, and also the first without the band's original bassist Roger Waters. The band later reprised the set-list and stage show of this tour for their performance at Knebworth Park in 1990.

Pink Floyd released their first album without Roger Waters, A Momentary Lapse of Reason. It was a time of transition for Pink Floyd, who returned after their supposed demise on Sept. 7, 1987, minus one key member but with a new album titled A Momentary Lapse of Reason. The disc would be important for the band, as it would make or break their future ability to tour and record without bassist Roger Waters. The band had split after 1983's The Final Cut, with each of the members venturing out to do solo discs

Storm Thorgerson, the album art maker for Pink Floyd, explained how he did the album cover for A Momentary Lapse of Reason: Shooting A Momentary Lapse of Reason was an absolute nightmare. Those beds are real; believe it or not. There are about 750 of them. The trucks held them at the top of the cliff and we had about thirty people carry them down by hand. A Momentary Lapse Of Reason is a music studio album recording by PINK FLOYD (Psychedelic/Space Rock/Progressive Rock) released in 1987 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette.

A Momentary Lapse of Reason. A David Gilmour solo album in all but name, heavily featuring the kind of atmospheric instrumental music and Gilmour guitar sound typical of the Floyd before the now-departed Roger Waters took over, but lacking Waters' unifying vision and lyrical ability.
