Wandering Spirit is the third solo album by Mick Jagger. Released in 1993, it was his only solo album release of the 1990s. Following The Rolling Stones' Steel Wheels (1989), Jagger began writing new material for what would become Wandering Spirit. In January 1992, after landing Rick Rubin as co-producer, Jagger recorded the album in Los Angeles over seven months until September 1992, recording simultaneously as Keith Richards was making Main Offender.

Wandering Spirit was his only solo release with the label, with the exception of The Very Best of Mick Jagger – a compilation album containing no new material. Released in February 1993, Wandering Spirit was commercially successful, reaching N. 2 in the UK and N. 1 in the U. .This event inspired him to write "Street Fighting Man" that same year. A variety of celebrities attended a lavish party at New York's St. Regis Hotel to celebrate Jagger's 29th birthday and the end of the band's 1972 American tour

The title is Latin for wandering man. The album takes a journey through the past and, in Anderson’s words, summarises key historical elements of early civilisation in Britain and seems to prophesy future scenarios too. It includes songs about a Neolithic settler, an Iron Age blacksmith and a monkish chant-style anthem with Latin references.

24, RAF Aircraft Engineer. D-Day was the largest seaborne invasion in history. Fromt countless acts of heroism that day, only one man was awarded the Victoria Cross; Company Sergeant Major Stanley Hollis of the Green Howards S REGT. Remembering him and allt rest pi. witter.

The Wandering Man is a novel by Boris Akunin, the first part of the third book on the adventures of Russian and German spies during the First World War. It describes the dangerous adventures of Josef von Theofels in St. Petersburg in early 1916. The story is set in the winter of 1916. During the previous year, all the power of the German army was directed against Russia.

Taking its name from acclaimed Western novelist Louis L'Amour's memoir, Education of a Wandering Man finds Lone Star State troubadours Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance delivering another slick and soulful set of T-crossing and I-dotting Texas Americana. Bigger, brighter, and more musically adventurous than 2014's largely bucolic Utah, Education of a Wandering Man barrels out of the gate with two of its most infectious cuts, the punchy, blues-bent "Company Man" and the rousing, radio-ready single "Love Is a Burden.
