While Screaming Females are always impressive in the studio, the band's live presence is a whole other beast. Guitarist and singer Marissa Paternoster completely pours herself into her performance as she makes a case for being one of the best indie rock guitarists since J Mascis. So it makes more than a little sense that when the New Jersey trio decided to record a live album, they recruited Albini (who also manned the boards for their 2012 double album Ugly).
