The EP opens with the deep and dark atmospheric tones of ‘Badman Touchdown’, which expertly combines the experimentalism of vintage, drum and bass with rugged, ragga soundclash junglism. If you can imagine Remarc joining the Metalheadz crew, circa 1995 then you’ll be close to how this one sounds. Up next the ‘Sounds Of Summer’ fuses together a fierce blend of frantic, hard-stepping breaks and thunderous bass pulses juxtaposed by soothing, jazzy Rhode’s keys to create a perfect balance of light and dark elements.

Shigeki Birkin (シゲキ・バーキン, Shigeki Bākin), better known as The Batman and Badman, is a character in the short story "Killer is Dead" and the Deuteragonist of the video game Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. He is the father of Bad Girl, an assassin Travis Touchdown killed on his first climb up the United Assassins Association rankings. Ten years years later, while trying to get revenge on Travis Touchdown, he becomes the second 'player' in the Death Drive Mark II games, serving as Travis' rival.

Touchdown is the sixth album by Bob James. It was a commercial breakout album for him that contained the song "Angela", the popular theme song to the 1970s television sitcom Taxi. The song was named after a guest character in the third episode of the first season ("Blind Date"), but after hearing the song, the producers made this the show's main theme, replacing their previous choice, which became this album's title track.
