Jim Brickman (born November 20, 1961) is an American songwriter and pianist of pop music, as well as a radio show host. Brickman has earned six Gold and Platinum albums. He is known for his solo piano compositions, pop-style instrumentals, and vocal collaborations with artists such as Lady Antebellum, Johnny Mathis, Michael W. Smith, Martina McBride, Megan Hilty, Donny Osmond, Delta Goodrem, Olivia Newton-John, and many others.

Cuts from early new age albums on Windham Hill such as No Words (1994) and By Heart: Piano Solos are included, before the picture shifts to more pop-oriented fare from albums such as 1997's Picture This, with its hit "Valentine" performed by Martina McBride; and 1999's Destiny, which spawned the instrumental smash "Rendezvous" with Herb Alpert on trumpet, and the. solo piano feature "Crossroads" which opens this collection.

Jim Brickman (born November 20, 1961) is an American composer and pianist. Brickman is known for his solo piano compositions, which are classified as new age music. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Brickman enrolled in the Cleveland Institute of Music taking courses in composition and performance, while taking business classes at Case Western Reserve University. His music career started when he was nineteen, when Jim Henson hired him to write tunes for Sesame Street.
