ProjeKct One performed four consecutive shows at the Jazz Cafe from 1 through 4 December 1997 ProjeKct Two (1997–1998). Fripp, Gunn, Adrian Belew - V-Drums). While ProjeKct One was the first of the sub-groups planned, ProjeKct Two actually convened and recorded first. It featured Fripp, Gunn and Adrian Belew on drums rather than guitar (his usual instrument with King Crimson). They released the studio album Space Groove in 1998. Additionally, they performed thirty-five concerts between February and July 1998 ProjeKct Three (1999, 2003). Fripp, Gunn, Pat Mastelotto - drums).

A small committee formed by founding father Robert Fripp of King Crimson, ProjeKct Two lies somewhere between the rich solo riffwork and the rawkin' yet dead-tight group efforts of his infamously pretentious prog rock ensemble. Freaky, hi-sci-fi CD liner notes describe in somewhat anthropological detail the sessions featuring Trey Gunn and Adrian Belew, which took place in Nashville while everyone was also working hard on other projects.

Some really trippy experimental space rock on highest level! Mr. Fripp - on my point of view - is the best ever walking guitarist on this planet, and i'm not saying that only in His work with King Crimson aspect (which is huge and magical), but also about His many solo albums, all the ProjeKcts stuff and duet albums e.g. "Starless Starlight" - an album with David Cross, etc. I adore all His musical achievements!
