It's windy there and the view is so nice. London ice can freeze you toes Like anyone I suppose. No Distance Left To Run. Blur, Ralph Vaughan Williams.

In 1992 Blur did a series of concerts in the US which wasn't well received by both the band and the audience. Grunge was at it's peak at that time and they couldn't do anything with it. As a result they started to develop a very British-Centric style.
Blur is the eponymous fifth studio album by the English rock band of the same name, released on 10 February 1997 by Food Records. Blur had previously been broadly critical of American popular culture and their previous albums had become associated with the Britpop movement, particularly Parklife, which had helped them become one of Britain's leading pop acts. After their previous album, The Great Escape, the band faced media backlash and relationships between the members became strained.

So we hold each other tightly and hold on for tomorrow Trying not to be sick again and holding on for tomorrow She's a twentieth centruy girl, hanging on for dear life So we hold each other tightly and hold on for tomorrow.
