Ooh La La is the fourth and final studio album by the English rock band Faces, released in March 1973. It reached Number One in the UK album chart in the week of April 28th 1973. On 28 August 2015, the album was reissued in remastered form on vinyl, and remastered and expanded on CD as part of the box set (along with the rest of the Faces catalogue of studio recordings) 1970-1975: You can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything.
I agree that the this album belongs to Ronnie Lane, especially with regards to Side 2. Gywnn Johns made the decision to keep this album short and to the point. However, it would have been interesting to hear the discarded tunes cleaned up and tighten and to have them incorporated a few of them into this album. See bootleg "Last Step".

"Ooh La La" is the last of those 4 but certainly not the least! It is quite often called the best "Faces" album, but music is subjective to each individual listener! If you like Classic Rock & Roll I feel comfortable recommend this . For that matter I would feel comfortable recommending all 4 "Faces" studio album's to any Rock & Roll aficionado's they are just that good!!!
It wasn't all over but the shouting, but the Faces sure weren't thriving when they released their last album, Ooh La La, in 1973. The problem, of course, was Rod Stewart, who had turned into a superstar, causing innumerable tensions within the band. He had yet to decamp to America, had yet to turn to pop instead of rock & roll, but he was on the cusp of that sea change.
Ooh La La". Poor old Granddad I laughed at all his words I thought he was a bitter man He spoke of women's ways. They'll trap you, then they use you Before you even know For love is blind and you're far too kind Don't ever let it show". I wish that I knew what I know now When I was younger. I wish that I knew what I know now When I was stronger. The Can Can's such a pretty show They'll steal your heart away But backstage, back on earth again The dressing rooms are grey
