Big Red Letter Day 1993. Comprising guitarist/vocalist Bill Janovitz, bassist/vocalist Chris Colbourn, and drummer Tom Maginnis, Buffalo Tom began to develop their own style with their second album, 1990's Birdbrain, which featured a noticeable improvement in songwriting. In 1992, Buffalo Tom released Let Me Come Over, a gritty set of driving rock and achingly melancholy ballads; several of its tracks became alternative radio staples, including the gorgeous ballad "Taillights Fade. Despite an increased amount of critical praise and some radio airplay, the album didn't sell.

Reviews:
  • Todal
I love the remastering job, very clean and dynamic, it does the music justice. I was, however, very very disappointed to realize that my favorite Buff Tom song "Crutch" was dropped from the LP. Oh well... Still worth having though.
  • Conjulhala
well, still a great song. and for a 25th anniversary reissue, it is pretty disappointing, they dropped this song. in addition, a second record just for a live show and the re-packaging are pretty boring, too. overall, a pretty disappointing, great pressing though.
  • Zavevidi
Crutch was never on any of the original vinyl pressings...only CD pressings.
  • Efmprof
Amazing pressing. Sounds wonderful. Glad to finally have this on vinyl.
