Nuggets spawned an entire cottage industry of small record labels dedicated to unearthing and releasing obscure but worthy garage and psychedelic rock music from the 1960s. In 1998 Rhino brought the original LP to CD, reproducing the original song sequence and liner notes. Love Is the Song We Sing: San Francisco Nuggets 1965-1970. Hallucinations: Psychedelic Pop Nuggets from the WEA Vaults. Come to the Sunshine: Soft Pop Nuggets from the WEA Vaults. Where the Action Is! Los Angeles Nuggets 1965–1968. I love my voice lessons with Ashten. I've always wanted to know how to sing better and be more confident in my voice. 2. Heather Pierce Vox and Music.

San Francisco was, of course, a deeply Los Angeles record and thereby lay a power struggle. Ever since the passing of swinging London in early 1966, various American cities had vied to become the centre of pop, the location in the nation. There was a serious side to the complaints. By the actual Summer of Love, the Haight/Ashbury district had become almost unmanageable thanks to the number of homeless, drug-dazed teens. Activists such as the Diggers – who were involved in the practical problems of dealing with so many runaways – noted that the lyrics were irresponsible at best if not fraudulent: "gentle people with flowers in their hair" was not the reality
