Abyss is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter and her eponymous band Chelsea Wolfe. The album was released on August 7, 2015 through Sargent House and was produced by John Congleton. It also features guest contributions from Mike Sullivan of Russian Circles and Dan Phillips from True Widow.
The parallax method, employed by GAIA, involves noting the apparent change in position of a nearby star relative to the more distant, background ones. And here, from our perspective, we've been able to look out into the Universe, not only across the great cosmic distances, but back into the Universe's past.
But true, and a bit scary. We ride the Mother Earth spaceship venturing through the absolute unknown. And there’s nothing we can do about it other than enjoy the ride.

As the closest stellar nursery to our humble planet, the Orion Nebula is one of the most studied astronomical bodies within our immediate cosmic vicinity. Because of this, it's also a frequent subject of fascination for astrophotographers, including Raul Villaverde Fraile, a Spanish photographer based in Ocentejo, Guadalajara.
An infinite cosmic abyss sounds way cooler than Earth. After take a couple tokes, I started to gaze out at the clouds and experienced this sensation of gravity keeping my back to the Earth while I looked down on these beautiful mountain-like clouds passing underneath. Nothing quite like that feeling.
It's like air. You breathe.
