Earth House Hold is the house nom de plume of Brock Van Wey, aka bvdub. The first appearance of this moniker was as a remixer on the bvdub/Shifty Science split 12". This single was released Chicago-based Love's Label in 2010.

Earth House Hold, A Little Late for That Now : A Little Late for That Now, out November 12th on digital and vinyl, is an epic deep-house track from veteran producer Brock Van Wey (. The cut features a beguiling, Sade-esque vocal stretched across a dozen slow-burning minutes. The Raconteurs were initially billed as an outlet for Jack White to step outside of the self-imposed sandbox of the White Stripes. But coming after a period during which White’s work-as both a solo artist and with the Dead Weather-has become increasingly untethered from his original no-frills ethos, the Raconteurs’s first album in 11 years, Help Us Stranger, feels like a robust return to form for the musician. But the Raconteurs shouldn’t just be viewed through a White-centric prism.

The first release from Brooklyn-based label Peach was a radiant two-tracker from Los Angeles duo Cromie & Sage Caswell, "Vines" b/w "Pyrex"; on November 12, the label moves on with a double-A-sided single from Earth House Hold, a project helmed by typically ambient-leaning artist Brock Van Wey. The eleven-minute(!) "A Little Late for That Now" is a new look for Van Wey, a smolderingly slow-paced vocal techno cut, but there's enough gorgeously empty perfume surrounding the mix that's reminiscent of the lusher moments on BVW's excellent 2009 album.

Friends is the fourth studio album by English indie rock band White Lies.

The new label helmed by resident TURBOTAX®DJ Rem Koolhaus, Peach, has just announced the details of its second release, a 12" from Earth House Hold-a handle o. San Francisco deep-house scene of the '90s. His two new tracks, "Back Where I Belong" and "A Little Late for That Now," find the producer crafting layered and soulful house cuts which clock in at nearly 12 minutes each, and, according to the label, "recall the sultry glow and hypnotic excellence of artists like Sade.

Liner notes:
before Earth House Hold was the ambient house project it evolved into, it was, well, this - a pretty direct reflection of the kind of deep house i was DJing throughout the 90's. these tracks were actually made pre-2000, and before any forays into my production as bvdub. they were also made before i knew how to use much of anything, and were made purely on an old-school sampler - and they sound like it ;)

this was actually supposed to be pressed to a white label at the time, but that dream never realized itself due to me being screwed over by the person involved. what a surprise.

the tracks were rediscovered by a friend of mine in 2009, on an old drive of his from back in the day, since i had made them at his house.

they are raw as hell, completely unmastered, and kinda wild. but that's what it was all about at that time. and i still love em to this day.
