Raydio is the self-titled debut album by the group Raydio, formed by session ongwriter Ray Parker Jr. Released in 1978 on Arista Records, it featured two hit pop singles: "Jack and Jill" (number 8 pop, number 5 R&B, number 11 in the UK) and "Is This A Love Thing" (number 20 R&B, number 27 UK). The album, which was produced, engineered, mixed, and mainly written by Parker himself, peaked at number 27 on the Billboard charts in 1978 and was certified gold by the RIAA.

The song was featured on the gold-selling debut, Top 10 album Raydio, along with follow-up hits 'Is This a Love Thing' and 'Honey I'm Rich'. The lead single from the second album Rock on was 'You Can't Change That', another Top 20 hit in both the . and the UK. The album achieved gold status in the . again, before Parker re-styled the group Ray Parker J. .amp; Raydio and went on to have many more Pop/Soul hits, including 'Ghostbusters' in 1984, of course.
