MICHAEL NANASAKOV ALKAN had reached the summit of glory as a pianist-composer in 1837. Although the compositions published in those years were hardly performed until recently, they are the masterpieces of ALKAN which bloomed for the first time under the romantic influence of the contemporaries Liszt, Chopin, and Berlioz. All the music recorded here are full of amazing originality and transcendental piano technique

Charles-Valentin Alkan wrote 25 preludes for solo piano or organ in 1844; they were published as his Op. 31 in 1847. These preludes span all 24 major and minor keys, plus an additional 25th prelude in C major. Assez lentement, F minor. Dans le genre ancien, D♭ major. Prière du soir, F♯ minor. Psaume 150me, D major. In 1983, Alkan is at the height of glory as pianist-composer. The pieces published in the year were rarely played until now, but undoubtfully masterpiece; he illustrates his uniqueness for the first time. All the tunes the CD contains are of astonishing innovation, demolish transcendence. In all aspects, these 12 pieces are the most important ones for following up Alkan’s artistic development, and comparable to notorious 12 Etudes in all minor keys and 12 Etudes in all major keys. Who is Michael Nanasakov? The first VIRTUAL pianist of the world who plays unplayable, ignored or rarely played pieces. The public profile is Born in Lithuania, Vitrinus 1955, but actually Nanasakov is a project with a computer and an automatic playing piano by its producer, Junichi Nanasawa. In 1990, Michael debuted with Godowsky’s the complete 53 studies on Chopin etudes recoding.
