Delroy Wilson began his recording career at the age of thirteen, while still a pupil at Boys Town Primary School. Wilson released his first single "Emy Lou" in 1962 for record producer, Clement "Coxsone" Dodd. His early years with Coxsone yielded a number of ska hits, the biggest of which, the Lee Perry-written "Joe Liges" was an attack on rival producer and former Dodd employee Prince Buster. This was followed by another Perry-written attack on Buster, "Spit in the Sky". again drifted out of the limelight, with his health declining, and is best remembered for his earlier work. Wilson is referenced by The Clash in their 1978 track "(White Man) In Hammersmith Palais" Albums. I Shall Not Remove (1966) Studio One.

Delroy Edwards, the electronic artist born Brandon Perlman, is likely never leaving Cali. It’s a huge part of everything he creates: his own music, the records he releases through his label . Club Resource, and the ephemera he sells with his friends Henoch Moore and Jimmy Mock through their digital storefront Gene’s Liquor. The way he talks about the album sounds like someone describing a box of intimate letters and snapshots that they keep under their bed. The record may have a bit of a creepy vibe, but there’s a lot of light and love, he explained. That’s what I saw at the beach and at the rocks. That said, Hangin' at the Beach might test the patience of fans who know Edwards from his releases on . and 12 records on LACR.
My Friends with Benefits Asked if i would like to be "eaten out", but i don't know what that means, so i didn't really answer him yet. So i was wondering if anyone knew what that meant, because I'am really clueless here. PLease Help, and if there is any more other sexual terms, i need to know, u can write that down to.

I recently asked Delroy Edwards, AKA Brandon Perlman, what . Club Resource, with its vinyl and cassette rap reissues, has to do with club music in the traditional sense. The album's psychogeography spans from the streets of LA to the seaside cliffs alongside the Pacific Coast Highway. Perlman has said, "A lot of was influenced by Northern California and Monterey and Big Sur. It's called fucking Hangin' At The Beach and that's what it's about. Here, that idyllic paradise is represented by sweet melody, which sounds best when mixed with a crunchy, lo-fi aesthetic. On "Horsing Around," he blends busted, Dance Mania-style percussion with stately synth strings. The awesomely titled "Numbnuts Hymn".
Delroy Edwards has a knack for turning the past into the future. Through his label . Club Resource and online store Gene’s Liquor, he unearths old underground rap and techno tapes that sound remarkably fresh, and his own music, be it his pumping house jams on . or the cassette-sourced mixes he calls Slowed Down Funk, is drenched in a similar kind of creative nostalgia.
