Christmas Songs is the eighth studio album by Canadian singer Diana Krall, performed with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. It was released on October 26, 2005 by Verve Records. This is Krall's first full-length album of Christmas songs (not counting her 1998 EP Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas), and her first studio album with a big band. The album was released on vinyl for the first time on October 14, 2016.

Mickey and the rep from Williamson considered all of the songs from the musical and the roster of Kapp artists, which included Louis Armstrong and the vocal group Ruby & the Romantics. One of the musicians who will accompany Jones on the . tour is Paul Lowden, who met the singer at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve 1971. The Jack Jones Christmas Album peaked at No. 15 on Billboard’s holiday chart in 1964 (and was released on CD for the first time in November 2016 on the Real Gone label).

The greatest pop singer of the '80s turns his holiday heartache into snowy synthpop. Darlene Love – "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)". Yuletide longing spins into pop gold for a 1960s pop doyenne. The delightful collaboration between the "Rocky Mountain High" singer and Jim Henson's band of misfit puppets is full of highlights, but the album's calypso-flavored version of this Yuletide nursery rhyme features a particularly giggle-worthy star turn from Miss Piggy. Paul McCartney – "Wonderful Christmastime".

Diana Krall's Christmas Songs is a worthy-though not particularly unique-addition to the holiday catalog. On it, she excels with an approach mastered long ago: elegant delivery that gives extra polish to a very familiar lineup. Some might find her style frosty at times, but that will come as a relief to those who want their carolers to cut through some of the holiday treacle and create a festive, yet grown-up vibe. And Krall does show off her playful side with little, personal touches. Diana Krall is a wonderful jazz singer and her Christmas album is fantastic as well! I was quite pleased with this purchase. I listened to the entire album through without skipping any songs and find myself immediately starting the album up again.
